The fifth edition of the Al Shifa International Student Seminar (ALISS) 2026–27 was successfully conducted on 16 and 17 September 2026 at Al Shifa College of Arts & Science, Perinthalmanna. The two-day academic event brought together 428 students who presented 220 research papers across various disciplines, including Computer Science, English, Commerce, Management Studies, Psychology, Economics and Nutrition and Dietetics. The seminar featured 19 keynote presentations and welcomed 25 international guests from 12 countries, providing a vibrant platform for research, academic exchange, international exposure, and interdisciplinary learning.

The academic sessions took place across multiple venues over the two days, encouraging students to present their research, exchange ideas, and engage in meaningful scholarly discussions. The presence of international guests provided valuable opportunities for cross-cultural interaction and exposure to diverse global perspectives. The event also featured stalls showcasing the products and initiatives of student entrepreneurs from various colleges, providing them with a platform to exhibit their creativity and entrepreneurial skills. The cultural night added vibrancy to the occasion with a diverse array of artistic performances, including dance and musical concerts presented by the students of the college. The event thus served as a meaningful platform for cultural exchange, bringing together diverse traditions, talents, and perspectives from different parts of the world. The fifth edition concluded with a strong spirit of collaboration and a renewed commitment to future academic endeavours.
