Report on the workshop titled ‘How to Write an Event Report?’ held on 7 July 2022, by the English Club in association with the Department of English

English Club in collaboration with the Department of English, Al Shifa College of Arts and Science organized a workshop on ‘How to Write an Event Report?’ on 7 July 2022 in Lecture Hall 4. Mr. Midhulaj P, Assistant Professor of English and Coordinator, English Club, led the session from 12 pm to 12.45 pm. The session started with a welcome note by Mohammed Shamil P, Student, III Semester B. A Functional English. Midhulaj. P started the session by stating what an event report is and what are the preparations to be made before writing an event report. The session discussed seven steps to writing an event report and methodologies to follow while drafting an event report. He also used the sample of event reports which are made for different types of programmes including workshops, seminars, and competitions. At the end of the session, students were asked to write a report on the event for practice. Mohammed Farooq K, Student, III Semester B. A Functional English proposed the vote of thanks and the workshop ended at 12.45 pm.
