Report on the Inaugural function of Add-on Course, “Diploma in Banking Services” and Invited Talk on “Financial services in The Era of Disruptions” held on 31th Dec. 2020

The first add on course under Department of Commerce and Economics at Alshifa College of Arts and Science, “Diploma in Banking Services ” was inaugurated on 31st December 2020 by Dr. Satheesh E K, Professor and Dean, Department of Commerce, University of Calicut Mr Rohith Ravi, Head, dept of Commerce, commenced the program at 10.30 am. Dr. P. K Babu in the Principal’s address talked about the current issues in financial service sector and Disruptions in various areas.Mr Muhammed Noufal, Head Department of Economics, welcomed the audience and Ms Ashida A P, Assistant Professor Department of Commerce, introduced the speaker. The speaker congratulated the Department for this endeavour and delivered a talk on ” Financial services in The Era of Disruptions “. HE talked about the recent changes in the financial service sector and Disruptions in the different fields of finance. Students actively participated in the interactive session that followed. Mubashir, a first semester B Com Finance student, delivered the vote of thanks. All the Commerce and economics students from the college and teachers from other Departments participated in the program.
