The Department of Commerce observed World Wild Life Day by presenting an award-winning short film titled ‘Hope’, on 3 March 2021, Wednesday at Lecture Hall 4 at 12.30 pm. The Short film focused on the relevance of Protecting forest and allied resources. Mr. Rohith Ravi, Head, Department of Commerce made a presentation and talk about the theme of the 2021 wildlife day ‘’Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Planet’. He shared his experience during the MPhil Research period. He expressed his views on the relevance of protecting forests and forest resources and how to commercialize the forest resources and various marketing strategies to familiarize forest resources among the public. The programme was wound up at 1,30pm.
