English Club, Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, organized a poem recitation competition titled ‘The Wordy Muse’ on 12 July 2022 at 11.30 am in Lecture Hall 4. Members of the English Club participated in the competition. Amaya K T, Student, III Semester B.A. Functional English, won the first prize for her melodious recitation of the poem “Daffodils” written by William Wordsworth. Mr. Midhulaj P, Assistant Professor of English, and coordinator, English Club, and Renjitha K.R, Assistant Professor, Department of English, were present for the program. The event started with a welcome note by Mohammed Shamil. P, III Semester B.A. Rameesa Jahan,
III Semester B, proposed functional English and the vote of thanks. A Functional English. The overall event was judged by Midhulaj P and Renjitha KR, Assistant Professors, Department of English.
