The Women Development Cell (WDC) of the Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, Keezhatur, Perinthalmanna organized a documentary show commemorating, the 142 nd Birth Anniversary of the Nightingale of India, Sarojini Naidu and the National Women’s, on 13th February 2021. Ms. Ashida AP coordinator of Women Development Cell (WDC) and Assistant Professor of Commerce delivered the welcome note. In the absence of Principal Prof. P.K Babu, Mrs. Saritha Mahesh, Head of the Department of English felicitated and advised women to scale new heights in all the aspects of life. Ms. Salukripa, I B Com Finance student at Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, Keezhatur presented biography of Sarojini Naidu. A detailed documentary both in English and Malayalam were presented. Mr. Mohammed Noufal.M, Head of the Department of Economics, Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, delivered a message to the students regarding
the education and employability of women and its relevance in the current era of social and economic ransformation. WDC Coordinator Ashida A.P at Al Shifa College of Arts and science, Keezhatur proposed vote of thanks. The session was held on Google Meet between 9.30 am and 10.30am. Girls as well as boys were present for the session.
