The Women Development Cell (WDC), Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, conducted competitions on Mehandi design and Mappilapattu in connection with Eid-ul-Adha on 7 July 2022 at 11:30 am. The Programme started with the Mehandi design competition in which students actively participated and completed the Mehandi designing in scheduled time. Ms. Binsiya Sherin, III Sem BA Economics won the first prize, Ms. Shibina. K. of III Sem B A Functional English won the second prize and Ms. Shifna Sherin, III Sem BA Functional English won the third prize in the competition. The second programme was Mappilapattu Competition, judged by Mr. Irshad. K, Asst. Professor of Arabic. Mr Althaf. P. T, V Sem B Com Taxation, Mr. Anshif. T., V Sem B Com Taxation and Ms. Jifanath from III Sem BA Economics won the first, second and third positions respectively. The programmes were conducted at the lecture halls 3 and 4. It was organized by Ms. Ashida. A. P, Assistant Professor of Commerce and coordinator of WDC and student coordinator Salukripa. M, IV Sem B Com Finance. Prizes are distributed to the winners by Dr. Babu. P.K, Principal, Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, Keezhattur.
