The Commerce Department of Al Shifa College of Arts and Science organized a programme on Integrating Professional Courses with B Com for the first year students, on 18th Oct ’21 in the college auditorium at 10.30 AM.

Mr. Shafad Hamza, Course Coordinator, DGC Finance School, Learning Partner of ISDC Perithalamanna, presented the topic for the first year B.Com. students. He enlightened the students on the topic and provided detailed ideas about the various professional courses they can pursue during their degree programme. The programme is meant to create an idea about professional courses to set their career plan and through this they will be ready for employment in better positions. Ms. Jisha. M. R, Regional Head (ISDC GLOBAL) was chief guest of the program. ISDC Global have a Memorandum of Understanding with Calicut university, as a part of which Al Shifa College has taken an initiative which will help the students of ACAS for the planning of their career in future. ACAS in association with DGC/ISDC will provide internationally approved courses like CMA, ACCA, etc. Through this initiative, students of ACAS can enjoy paper exemption and fee reduction for the various courses.
Mr. Suhaib, Assistant Professor of Commerce, gave the formal welcome note and Rohit Ravi, HOD of Commerce delivered the presidential address. Representative from students, Mr. Thirmithi Mishal delivered the vote of thanks. The programme came to an end at 12.00 pm.
