Department of Commerce, Al Shifa College of Arts and Science organized an online session for students on the topic How to Prepare an Academic PowerPoint Presentation on 14 June 2021, Monday. The session was handled by Ashida A P, Assistant Professor of Commerce, Al Shifa College of Arts and Science. She started the session with a demo PowerPoint asking the students to point out the mistakes on those slides. Then she moved on to a presentation which stated the factors to be considered while preparing an Academic PowerPoint. She highlighted the importance of font size, font design, animation, layout, and slide structure while preparing an Academic Presentation. She concluded the session with a sample PowerPoint presentation.
Rohith. R, Head, Department of Commerce coordinated the session and delivered the welcome speech. He mentioned this session will be helpful for the students for their classroom seminars and other Academic Presentations. The session winded up at 11 am.
