Report on ‘Financial Literacy for Women’, organised by the Women Development Cell in collaboration with Financial Literacy Centre, Perinthalmanna Block, and held on 4 August 2021 at Al Shifa College of Arts and Science.

Women Development Cell (WDC), Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, oraganised a session on Financial Literacy for students at the College of Arts and Science in collaboration with the Financial Literacy Centre, Perinthalmanna Block, on 4 August 2021 Wednesday at 10.30 am to 11.30 am. The session was coordinated by Ashida. A. P, Assistant Professor of Commerce and Co-ordinator, WDC.

Mrs. Bhanumathi. N.K, Rtrd. Senior Manager, Kerala Gramin Bank, Perinthalmanna Block, Financial Literacy Counselor, was the chief guest at the event and she spoke on the topic of Financial Literacy for Women. She pointed out the relevance of financial literacy among the women and the need of setting up of financial goals in their life. She explained different schemes available for making the habit of savings and its benefits. Session was conducted in an interactive way and it was very informative and helpful to the students for recognizing the best schemes for savings and building financial goals for their future. The session came to an end at 11.30 am after an official vote of thanks by Salukripa. M, student, II Semester B Com Finance.
