The Department of Commerce in association with ED Club, Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, Kizhattur, Perinthalmanna, organized a session on Farm Entrepreneurship. Mr. Mohammed Shiyas.C.K, Managing Partner, Farm Panacea Trade Links led the session. The speaker opened the discussion by outlining his journey since starting the firm in 2008 at the lower level. With four partners and a distribution network spreading from Palakkad to Kasargod,
the firm employs more than 20 people. Farm Panacea Trade Link is a wholesaler of synthetic, organic, and biological pesticides with connections to large companies.

Mr. Rohith R, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Commerce, gave a ceremonial welcoming address to begin the session at 11 o clock. The session was opened by Ms. Saritha. K, vice principal and head of the department of English. Mr. Suhaib. P, Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the ED Club, gave vote of thanks, and the session was wound up at 12.30 p.m.
