Report on Declamation Competition held on 18 July 2021 in connection with Nelson Mandela Day

An inter-collegiate Declamation Competition was organized by English Club, Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, for the college students, in connection with observing Nelson Mandela Day on 18 July 2021. Students were asked to record their video presentation of any famous speech of Nelson Mandela and send it via WhatsApp to the programme coordinator. Entries were received from various colleges across Kerala. The best seven entries were selected and first, second and third positions were awarded prizes. Namratha from Govt. Brennen College, Thalassery, Swathi. P from Yuvakshethra Institute of Management Studies-Palakkad and Aiswarya Suresh from Dr. Janaki Ammal Campus-Kannur University, grabbed the first, second and third positions respectively. Certificates were distributed to the winners. The participants thanked Al Shifa College of Arts and Science for providing such an opportunity for them.
