Add-On courses benefits the students with something extra beyond their regular academics. It serves as an added advantage. Various Departments of Al Shifa College of Arts and Science offered a 30-hour Add-on course for the First Semester Degree students of batch 2020-2023. Department of English offered the course on ‘Presentation Skills’ and the Department of Commerce and Economics offered the course on ‘Diploma in Banking Services’. In order to assess how the students benefitted from the course, the students of BA Functional English presented certain topics and were evaluated based on their performance. A proctor-based exam was conducted for the students of BCom and BA Economics, to assess their level of accomplishment of the Add-On course.

The courses were completed with cent percent student participation and was well benefited from the course. On the successful completion of the course, Certificates were distributed to the student representatives by Managing Trustee, P.Unneen, Shifa Medicare Trust in the Principal, Dr.P.K.Babu and Mrs. Saritha, Head, Department of English, on 30th March 2021.
