Report on ‘Career Pathways for English Majors’ organized by the Dept. of English with Career Training and Placement Cell on 10 November ‘21

A session on Career Pathways for English Majors was conducted for the first semester B. A. Functional English students on 10 November 2021, at 12. 40 pm, by Ms. Sabina and Ms. Renjitha. K. R, Assistant Professors of English, Al Shifa College of Arts and Science. The session was organized jointly with Career Training and Placement Cell (CTPC). Students were briefed on the potential career opportunities available for them after the completion of their course. Career choices such as advertising copywriter, publishing specialists, literary scouts, literary agents, production editors, proofreaders, content/ technical writers, marketing professionals, advertising account executive, public relations officer, broadcasting presenter and more were introduced to the students. Students clarified their doubts in the question and answer session which followed.
