A workshop on Academic Writing was organized by the Faculty Development Centre, AlShifa College of Arts and Science, on 5 July ’22 at 2.30 PM in Lecture Hall 4. Ms. Renjitha. K. R, Asst. Prof. of English, Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, was the presenter. She began her session by giving assurance to the participants that academic writing can be practiced by anyone if it is pursued with passion. The participants were given a detailed
session on the step-by-step process of how to frame a paragraph, and link paragraphs thereby giving clarity, unity, and logicality to the content. She added that making use of synonyms will help to refine a write-up. A list of synonyms was also shared with the participants for their perusal. The session concluded at 3 pm.
