ED Club at Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, Kizhattoor, Perinthalmanna, Conducted an Interactive Session with Student Entrepreneur, Ms. Fathimath Nishla (CCIP Diploma Holder, Founder, Toujours Couture Boutique & Artis Industria Paper Craft) in the Talk Series by ED Club on 15 June 2021, Tuesday between 11.00 am and 12.00 pm on Google Meet.
Ms. Fathimath Nishla shared her experience as an entrepreneur and challenges faced by her in entrepreneurial practices during studies. She conveyed if anyone has strong determination to do something no one can resist it. She was very interested in making paper craft even after facing lot of demotivation and negative comments from the society. She inspired the students to do something simple that will not take huge investment. Anyone can become a successful entrepreneur if they are ready to follow their passion in their entrepreneurial practice. She also shared details regarding the scholarship she got from NOVA College, State of Virginia, USA and shared the long process involved in it and also the procedures she went through. She recalled the experience and exposure she got from USA even in the middle of covid restrictions.
After the presentation she inspired students to ask questions. Roshni K T, II Sem B.com Taxation, asked about the attitude of the family and relatives when she got shortlisted for the CCIP Scholarship. Salukripa, II Sem B.Com Finance asked her doubt regarding getting the scholarship and its availability in every institution. She responded all the question with in the time limit.
Mr. Muhammed Noufal M, Head, Department of Economics & Coordinator, ED Club delivered the welcome note. Muhammed Shalikh of II sem B.A Functional English proposed the vote of thanks.The presentation came to an end at 12 pm.
