The formal inauguration of the Commerce Association 2020-2021 ‘Emperio’ at Al Shifa College of Arts and Sciences was done by Alikutty T P Assistant Professor, PG & Research Department of Commerce, MES Mampad College, at the College Seminar Hall on Wednesday 24th February 2021, followed by a session on ‘Integrating Professional Courses with B Com’. He spoke about various scopes in the career-front after completing professional courses with a degree in Commerce. He even specified the importance of each field of work. He also guided the students in detail regarding the syllabus, course fee, and the structure of professional courses in Commerce such as CA, CMA, ACCA, and CS.
Mr. Rohith R, Assistant Professor, and Head, Department of Commerce delivered the welcome address. Dr.PK Babu, Principal, Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, addressed the gathering. Muhammed Savadheen M, Association Secretary, Commerce and student, first B.Com Finance, proposed the vote of thanks. Ms.Salukripa M of first B.Com Finance, Al Shifa College of Arts and Science anchored the session. The students of the Finance and Taxation batches of the Commerce Department and faculty members of other departments attended the function. The session was held at the college seminar hall between 11.30 am – 12.30 pm.
