Department of English observed Holocaust Day on 27/01/21, Wednesday on G Meet at 12.30 pm

Mohamed Shalikh presented a power point presentation on Holocaust. He elaborated the historical event starting from the origin of the word, Holocaust. The various pictures presented about the heart breaking incidents in the concentration camp enlightened students with the cause and consequences of Holocaust. Basila Sherin presented the review of the holocaust novel Trieste. Sana Zain shared the experiences as a Holocaust survivors at concentration camps. Muhammed Sulthan, Farhana & Rinshi enacted a mock TV News report on the Holocaust movie Au Revoir Les Enfants . Fathima Febin also gave the review of the novel “Mendelssohn is on the Roof”. Haaniya talked about the experiences of Holocaust survivor, Bergen & Belsen. Jamsheer presented the Film review of Escape from Sobibor. Saritha K, Head of English, addressed the participants and Ms.Mariyumma, Asst. Prof. of English, welcomed the gathering. Ms. Afshida, English Association Secretary, proposed vote of thanks.
