A session on Women’s Health and Hygiene was held with integration of Alshifa College of Pharmacy at Alshifa College of Arts and Science, Keezhatur, Perinthalmanna, on 12 February 2021(Friday) by Dr.Sajitha P. S, Consultant Gynecologist, KIMS Al Shifa Super Specialty Hospital, Perinthalmanna,.She delivered a talk on “Women’s Health and Hygiene”. As a doctor, she shared her topic very interesting and informative manner. She exclusively referred the importance of health care and maintaining hygiene in daily life of everyone and especially for women. There were 60 participants.

Ms. Ashida AP coordinator of Women Development Cell (WDC) and Faculty of the Department of Commerce delivered the welcome note. And Mr. Surya Praksh, Principal of Al Shifa College of Pharmacy spoke on behalf of the college of Pharmacy. In the absence of Principal Prof. PK Babu, Mrs. Saritha Mahesh, Head of the Department of English felicitated. Ms.Shahala Sherin, BPharm second year student at Al Shifa College of Pharmacy,Keezhatur conveyed greetings by signifying Second Year B Pharm students. Ms. Roshini, student of the first B Com Taxation at Al Shifa College of Arts and science, Keezhatur proposed vote of thanks. Participants enthusiastically attended the session, and asked queries and doubts to the doctor regarding the various health issues and remedies during the session. The session was also attended by the Alshifa College of Arts and Science and Al Shifa College of Pharmacy teachers. The session was held at Seminar hall between 11.30 am and 12.30pm.
