The Scholar Mentor Cell of Al Shifa College of Arts and Science organised “Path to Excellence,” a motivational and academic enrichment programme for advanced learners on 27 July 2026 at 10:45 a.m. in the Seminar Hall. The programme was envisioned to inspire high-achieving students to pursue excellence through focused learning, perseverance, and academic commitment.

The programme featured Ms Hiba Thahseen, School Counsellor at Podar Pearl School, Qatar, and a third-rank holder at the University of Calicut, as the resource person. A formal vote of thanks for the inaugural session was delivered by Ms. Fazna, Department of Psychology, following which the resource person commenced the session.

Drawing from her own academic journey and professional experience, Ms. Hiba Thahseen delivered an inspiring and engaging session on the habits, mindset, and strategies required to achieve academic excellence. She emphasised the importance of goal-setting, consistency, self-discipline, effective time management, and maintaining a positive attitude when overcoming challenges. Her personal experiences as a University rank holder made the session relatable and highly motivating for the students.
