Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, Perinthalmanna organized an online presentation on Drafting Vision and Mission Statement on HEI’s on 15 January 2021. The presentation was aimed at how to draft a good vision and mission statement for HEI’s.

The presentation was inaugurated by Dr. Sivadasan. P, Professor of History, and IQAC Director, University of Calicut. He talked about the relevance of NAAC accreditation of HEI’s in Kerala. Mr.Unneen, Management trustee, Shifa Medicare Trust addressed the participants.

There were 30 participants consisting of principals, vice-principals and IQAC Coordinators from different colleges across Kerala. The session was handled by Dr.P K Babu (Principal Al Shifa College of Arts and Science). The presentation focused on factors that are to be considered while preparing vision and mission statements and the different stakeholder’s involvement in drafting vision and vision statement

Mr.Rohith.R, IQAC Coordinator and Head Department of commerce welcomed the participants, and Mohammed Noufal Head Department of Economics Proposed the vote of thanks. Saritha. K Head, Department of English coordinated the programme Mr.Irshad, Asst. Prof of Arabic introduced the guests. The programme started at 10.30 am and virtual venue was Google Meet. The programme was wound up at 12 after an interactive session between the speaker and the participants.
