The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Al Shifa College of Arts and Science has been honoured with the prestigious Golden Sustainable Campus Award by the Research Heights Foundation in collaboration with the Environmental Protection Training and Research Institute (EPTRI), Hyderabad, as a part of Bharat Environment Programme. The award recognises the institution’s outstanding contributions to environmental sustainability, community engagement, and the promotion of eco-friendly practices on campus.

The award was presented at a grand ceremony held in Hyderabad on 01 June 2026. Mr. Irshad K, Assistant Professor of Arabic and NSS Programme Officer, and Mr. Shahid Ajmal, Assistant Professor of Physical Education, received the award on behalf of the institution.
