The Career Training and Placement Cell (CTPC) and the Department of English jointly organised a Mock Interview Session on 5 October ’21 for the second year BA Functional English students. An interview panel comprising of Dr. Babu. P. K, Principal, Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, and Ms. Saritha. K, Head, Dept of English, Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, set up an ambience of job interview in the Computer Lab. The performance of the students attending the interview was shot and recorded. After exchanging questions and answers, the students were given one on one evaluation on their posture, gesture, eye contact and language skills by Dr. Babu. They were given tips to improve their standard of performance. Ten students out of thirteen of second BA Functional English benefited out the event. This was a follow up session of the input session given to them on 06/02/2021.
