Fine Arts Club functions in the college to bring out the artistic talents among the students. Students are encouraged to participate in the competitions held in various colleges. Nurturing and grooming extra-curricular taste in students aid in the overall development of young learners. They are identified in the area of Vocal Music, Instrumental Music, Mimicry, Solo Dance, Group Dance, Drama, Folk Song, Short Film, acting, etc., and offer training to improve their skills in Fine Arts. The Club focuses on discovering, polishing and exposing the innate talents of the interested students and cater to specific areas so that the students can join the clubs of their interest and better their skills, interact with peers having similar tastes, take their skills to the next level by participating in several individuals and group intra and intercollegiate competitions.
The Arts Club also monitors the conduct of the Arts Festival. Whether it’s through dance, music, or fine arts, creativity is all around the college students and this is often on display during campus arts festivals.Apart from the fun, frolic and platform that it offers to students to exhibit their talents, the arts festival is also an acid test of some students’ managerial skills, team spirit, coordination and camaraderie. The college Arts festival is conducted each year with unique names. In order to ensure the maximum participation from every student and to inculcate in them a spirit of competition, all the students are grouped into houses. Each group is headed by a student coordinator the competitions are conducted house-wise.
As part of the Independence Day Celebrations on 14th August 2025, Ms. Mufeeda P. and Ms. Fathima Sherin of III Semester B.A. English Language and Literature secured the Third Prize in the Intercollegiate Quiz Competition organized by Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), District Youth Office, Malappuram, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.
The event was hosted at Markaz Arts and Science College in association with its IQAC and NSS units.

Nutrition and Dietetics), and Fathima Nadha, Hajara Muhammad Sadiq, Shahana V, and Fasna (S1 B.Sc. Psychology). from Al Shifa College of Arts and Science participated in the Intercollegiate Patriotic Song Competition organized by Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), District Youth Office, Malappuram, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.

As a prelude to the C-Zone Arts Fest, the Kala Jatha of the University of Calicut Union was organized at Al Shifa College of Arts and Science on 6 January 2026 by the Fine Arts Club and Unora Students Union.
The Kala Jatha team presented an engaging skit based on a contemporary social theme, which was well received by the students. The programme was inaugurated by the Principal, Dr. Kamaludheen K.T., and also featured vibrant dance and song performances by students.
The Fine Arts Club, in association with the College Students’ Union of Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, organized the official name reveal ceremony of the upcoming Arts Fest on 13 January 2026 at 2:30 PM.
The fest was officially titled “Kalaakrithi Arts Fest 2026,” The event was enlivened by a musical performance by the Sarangi Music Band and a vibrant dance by the Srishti Dance Club, adding enthusiasm and colour to the occasion. The ceremony marked the formal beginning of preparations for Kalaakrithi Arts Fest 2026, celebrating creativity and cultural expression.
Kalaakrithi Arts Fest 2026 was successfully conducted on 14th, 15th, and 16th January 2026 at Al Shifa College of Arts and Science. The three-day fest aimed to nurture artistic talent, encourage creativity, and promote cultural harmony among students.
The fest was officially inaugurated by singer and music director Mr. Irshad Srambikkallu, and the Arts Club logo was unveiled by cine artist Mr. Shoukathali. The inaugural function included addresses by the Principal and other dignitaries.
Based on cumulative points, First Years secured First Place (98 points), followed by Second Years (67 points) and Third Years (60 points). The fest concluded with an enthralling performance by the Ilaaha Muttippattu team.
Kalaakrithi Arts Fest 2026 stood as a grand celebration of artistic excellence, unity, and cultural pride, made successful through the collective efforts of management, staff, and students.
The Arts Club, in collaboration with the Spiritual Club of Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, organized a Mehendi Design Competition titled “Henna Fiesta” as part of Eid celebrations on 17 March 2026.
The event aimed to promote cultural expression and creativity, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students across departments. Participants worked in teams to create intricate mehendi designs, which were judged based on creativity, neatness, and presentation.
