Department of Sociology
Sociology is offered as a complementary subject for the Economics Programme at the College. Though a complementary course, the activities of the Department is not limited as such. It operates with a pan-college agenda. Since Sociology s a subject cuts across disciplines, in a number of ways, the Dept connects to all other subjects and students. This also contributes to the creation of a holistic learning experience too.
