The second webinar in the Career Webinar Series organised by the Al Shifa College of Arts & Science was meant for those studentd who finishsd higher secondary and are interested in doing BA in Functional English. The webinar titled ‘Career Paths for English Majors’ was handled by Dr. Babu. P. K., the Principal of the college, who is also an English Language Expert. The session explaaned the centrality of English Language Skills in the current and emerging world. It also provided useful information regarding the specific pathways opened up by a Degree programme in Functional English. The careers in technology related domains and the need to be prepared for the same too formed part of the webinar held on 21 July 2020.
