The Career Training and Placement Cell (CTPC) of Al Shifa College of Arts & Science is dedicated to enhancing students’ career readiness and employability. The Cell regularly organizes career training programmes, CV preparation workshops, grooming sessions, interview skills training, mock interviews, and placement drives. Through these initiatives, CTPC equips students with the skills, confidence, and professional competencies required to succeed in higher education and the job market.

CV Preparation Workshop

The Career Training and Placement Cell (CTPC) of Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, Kizhattur, organized a CV Preparation Workshop to equip students with essential resume-writing skills. The session focused on creating professional and impactful CVs, highlighting academic achievements, skills, internships, and extracurricular activities effectively.

Through expert guidance and practical tips, participants gained valuable insights into industry expectations and best practices for preparing job-winning resumes. The workshop enhanced students’ readiness for placements and future career opportunities.

Mock Interview

Al Shifa College of Arts and Science conducted a mock interview session for its final year students to help them prepare for upcoming campus placements and career opportunities. The session provided students with a realistic interview experience, including common HR and technical questions, feedback on communication skills, and guidance on improving confidence and presentation. It aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional expectations, enabling students to understand industry standards and enhance their employability skills.

Megha Thozhil Mela 2026

The Career Training and Placement Cell (CTPC) of Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, Kizhattur, successfully organized the Megha Thozhil Mela, providing a valuable platform for job seekers from Malappuram, Palakkad, and Kozhikode districts. Participants from various age groups with qualifications ranging from SSLC to Graduation and Engineering attended the event.

The job fair witnessed the participation of 300+ companies and 879 registered candidates, creating numerous employment opportunities across diverse sectors. The programme reflected the college’s commitment to enhancing employability and connecting talented candidates with leading employers.
