The PG Department of Psychology, Al Shifa College of Arts & Science, organized an Invited Student Talk Series titled “Behind the Mask: Understanding Personality Disorders Through Case Studies” on 29 July 2026 from 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. via Google Meet. The session was delivered by Ms. Febinsha Fahim C., III Semester M.Sc. Psychology, Central University of Andhra Pradesh.
The resource person presented an engaging and informative session on personality disorders, explaining their clinical features, diagnostic characteristics, and the importance of understanding these disorders through real-life case studies. She discussed various personality disorders with relevant examples, highlighting the behavioural patterns, psychological symptoms, and challenges faced by individuals with these conditions. The case-based approach enabled participants to gain practical insights into the identification and understanding of personality disorders from a clinical perspective.
A total of 25 students, comprising Final Year B.Sc. Psychology and First Year M.Sc. Psychology students participated in the programme. The participants actively engaged in the interactive session by asking questions and taking part in the discussion, making the programme both informative and enriching.
