Al Shifa College of Arts and Science organized “FRESHOPIA,” the Freshers’ Day celebration for the 2026–’27 academic batch, on 10 August 2026 at the College Auditorium. The morning session commenced at 9:30 AM with a prayer by the College Choir, followed by a welcome address, the Principal’s Address by Dr. Kamaludheen K. T., and felicitations by Vice Principal Ms. Saritha K. The event was officially inaugurated by Mr. Nahas Abdul Rassaque, Manager of Placement and Relations, ACAS, before concluding the formal ceremony with a vote of thanks. Following the inauguration, the stage came alive with a vibrant showcase of 20 cultural performances. The morning line-up featured a balanced mix of songs ,dance and dynamic group performances across various batches and departments.

The excitement reached its peak in the afternoon session at 02:30 PM with an electrifying live performance by the music band “GROOVE.” Performing under the event’s welcoming motto, “Come as you are, leave as family,” the band delivered a high-energy set that had both students and faculty dancing and cheering throughout the auditorium. The seamless combination of engaging morning talent showcases and the energetic afternoon musical concert made Freshopia 2026 a memorable and grand reception for the new batch.
