The Department of English, ACAS, organised Elsinore English Association on Monday, 29 June 2026. The event showcased the academic and creative talents of students from the B.A. English Language and Literature programme. The programme commenced with a Welcome Note by Dilshad T K, V Semester, followed by the HoD’s Note by Ms. Radhika A, Assistant Professor of English(HoD in charge). The sessions were designed to blend literary appreciation, cultural analysis, and student-led innovation.

The programme featured four segments presented by undergraduate students. Aswani Krishna P, V Semester, made a Presentation on P. N. Panicker, highlighting the legacy of the father of the Library Movement in Kerala. Dilsan P, V Semester, delivered a talk on “Decoding the World Cup”, Shamiya Sherin, III Semester, handled the “Lexicon Launch”. The event also included a “World Cup Prediction Box”. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Ms. Shamseera, III Semester. The event provided a platform for students to engage critically with literature, language, and contemporary themes, reflecting the department’s commitment to experiential learning.
