The Department of Computer Science, Al Shifa College of Arts & Science, organized a seminar titled “Software Development: Trends, Traits, and the Future” for Fifth Semester Students on 30 June 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Computer Lab.

The session was delivered by Mr. Sumesh V, CHRO, Blue Gen Solutions. The seminar aimed to familiarize students with the rapidly evolving software development industry and prepare them for the expectations of the modern IT workplace.
During the session, the resource person discussed the latest trends in software development, including Artificial Intelligence, cloud computing, DevOps, cybersecurity, low-code/no-code platforms, and full-stack development.

He also highlighted the essential traits expected from software professionals, such as problem-solving ability, adaptability, teamwork, communication skills, continuous learning, and professional ethics.
