The Quiz Club of Al Shifa College of Arts and Science serves as a dynamic platform for students to enhance their knowledge, critical thinking, and awareness of current affairs and general knowledge. It regularly organizes a variety of academic and co-curricular activities such as quiz competitions, rapid-fire rounds, interdepartmental quiz contests, and theme-based quizzes on literature, science, history, and current events. The club aims to foster intellectual curiosity, analytical thinking, and a spirit of healthy competition among students. It also encourages participants to stay informed and express their knowledge confidently in a competitive setting. Through its initiatives, the Quiz Club creates an engaging and intellectually stimulating environment for holistic learning.

Indian Cinema Quiz – 12 December 2025
Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, Kizhattur, Perinthalmanna, conducted an Indian Cinema Quiz under the aegis of the Quiz Club as an engaging and competitive programme celebrating cinematic knowledge and intellectual curiosity among students. The event, themed “A Different League,” witnessed active participation from students across various departments, featuring questions on iconic films, actors, directors, music, and milestones in Indian cinema. Afnan M of I B.Com Finance secured the first position, followed by Fathimath Farhana E T of III B.A English Language and Literature in second place, while the third position was shared by Hiba P of III B.A English and Hiba Hanan M of III B.A Functional English. The programme concluded successfully on a celebratory note, recognizing the participants and reinforcing the Quiz Club’s role in promoting co-curricular learning and academic engagement.

EcoQuiz: Test Your Green IQ – 15th July 2025
Al Shifa College of Arts and Science conducted “EcoQuiz: Test Your Green IQ” on 15th July 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Conference Hall as an academic quiz programme for second and third year B.A. English Language and Literature students. The event aimed to promote healthy competition, enhance literary and general knowledge, and encourage interaction among students through multiple rounds covering literature, language, current affairs, and general knowledge. Coordinated by Ms. Riya, Assistant Professor, Department of English, the programme was conducted smoothly and witnessed enthusiastic participation. The competition concluded with a tie, highlighting the equal competence of both groups, and the event proved to be an enriching and engaging learning experience.

Quiz Master – 17 March 2025
The Quiz Club of Al Shifa College of Arts and Science conducted a “Quiz Master” event on 17 March 2025 at 11:30 AM in Lecture Hall 10, coordinated by Ms. Riya from the Department of English. The programme was an academic quiz competition aimed at promoting knowledge, analytical thinking, and healthy competition among students, featuring three rounds based on social issues, political developments, current affairs, and literature. Students participated enthusiastically, making the event both informative and engaging. Fathimath Hasna PT of S4 B.Com Finance secured the first place, followed by Niranjan M in second place and Abdul Hashim in third place, and the programme concluded successfully as a valuable platform for showcasing students’ knowledge and skills.
