A ‘Talk on Bob Dylan and the Pop Culture of America’ by research scholar, Sahira Kizhakkepeedika , was organised by the Department of English, Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, Keezhattur, on 9th March 2021. The session commenced at 10.45 am with a welcome speech by Ms. Saritha.K., Head, Department of English and the introduction of the speaker by Basila Sherin.A of First BA Functional English. Ms. Sahira gave a detailed description on the life and works of Bob Dylan, his first magazine and how he came to be known as Bob Dylan. She played a few songs of Bob Dylan and made a presentation on the chapter ‘The Times They Are Changin’’of First semester degree course A02: Ways with Words. The session came to an end by 12pm with vote of thanks by Muhamed Sultan of First BA Functional English.
