About CCE – Centre for Competitive Examinations

Introduction:

The Centre for Competitive Examinations (CCE) at Al Shifa College of Arts and Science is a dedicated cell focused on providing comprehensive support and guidance to students in their pursuit of competitive examinations. With a commitment to fostering career advancement and holistic development, CCE endeavours to empower students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in various competitive arenas.

Aims and Objectives:

To empower students with the essential resources and guidance required to excel in competitive examinations, thereby enhancing their career prospects and facilitating their overall personal and professional growth.

Time Management Session (11 September 2025)

The Centre for Competitive Examinations conducted a session on Time Management for first-year students, led by Bijumon P Joseph. The session focused on effective time utilization, prioritization, and discipline.It was highly interactive and benefited over 70 students.

CUET Orientation Programme (09 December 2025)

A CUET orientation titled “Understanding the Roadmap” was organized to guide students on exam structure and preparation strategies.The session was handled by Daison Panengaden. It enhanced students’ awareness and confidence towards national-level entrance exams.

PSC Registration Camp – “Walk the Walk” (Phase I)

The first phase of the PSC Registration Camp was conducted for first semester B.Com students to assist them in completing One-Time Registration. A total of 30 students benefited from the hands-on guidance.The programme improved awareness about various government job opportunities.

Session on “Next Step Begins Now” (24 February 2026)

A motivational session for selected first-year students was conducted by Saritha K. The programme focused on the importance of the transition from school to college and effective use of the first year.It helped 35 students gain clarity and direction.

Career Prospects of Women in Government Services (24 February 2026)

A career guidance session was organized to create awareness about government job opportunities for women. The session was handled by Irshad Ameen K.It motivated 32 students to pursue competitive exams and public sector careers.
