A Pre-seminar Workshop helps one to understand the key areas and identify a topic for paper
presentation/publication in connection with a seminar.

The session started with a welcome note by Dr. Hashmina, Assistant Professor of English, Farook College (Autonomous), followed by an inaugural address by Dr. Rizwana Sultana, Head, Dept. of English, Farook College (Autonomous).

The first part of the workshop, led by Dr. Babu. P. K, Principal, Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, introduced students to the fundamentals of structuring a research paper. The second session, handled by Ms. Renjitha. K. R, Assistant Professor of English, introduced to the students the concept of Postmillennial Popular Cultures and different areas students can explore related to the topic. Students of UG and PG courses at Farook College (Autonomous) attended the session. The participants sought clarification on the topic after the session. Registration form for ALISS '22 was distributed among the participants towards the end of the session, which the students filled and returned. The programme came to an end with a vote of thanks by one of the student participants, at 12.10 PM.
