The Department of Management Studies, Al Shifa College of Arts & Science, organized a two-day Outbound Training (OBT) Programme for the First Semester BBA students on 24 and 25 September 2026 at LEAD (Leadership & Entrepreneurship Academy, Dhoni), College Autonomous, Palakkad

The programme was designed to provide practical and experiential learning beyond the conventional classroom environment. Through a series of outdoor activities, team challenges, group tasks and experiential exercises, students actively participated in situations that encouraged them to apply managerial and interpersonal skills in a practical setting.

The various activities helped students develop important qualities such as leadership, teamwork, coordination, communication, time management, stress management, problem-solving and decision-making. The activities also encouraged students to overcome fear, hesitation and personal barriers, thereby improving their confidence and willingness to take up challenges. Students learned the importance of trust, mutual support, responsibility, adaptability and effective coordination while working with their peers.
