The Mentorship Cell of Al Shifa College of Arts and Science organized a Session on Mentorship on 18 August 2026 at 3:00 PM in the Conference Room. The session was led by Dr. Kamaludheen K. T.
The programme aimed to enhance the understanding of faculty members regarding the importance of mentorship in higher education and its role in supporting students’ academic, personal, and professional development. Dr. Kamaludheen K. T. shared valuable insights on effective mentoring practices, mentor-mentee relationships, communication strategies, and the responsibilities of mentors in guiding students towards achieving their goals.
The session was attended by 12 faculty members, who actively participated in the discussions and interactions. The resource person highlighted the significance of mentorship in fostering a supportive learning environment and encouraged faculty members to adopt student-centered mentoring approaches.
