Al Shifa College of Arts and Science celebrated the 80th Independence Day of the nation with great patriotism and enthusiasm on 15 August 2026.
The programme began with the hoisting of the national flag by Dr. Saritha. K., Vice Principal, ACAS. In her inspiring address, Dr. Saritha. K, reminded the audience of the values of unity, equality, and dedication towards nation-building. She encouraged the students to contribute actively to the country’s progress through education, innovation, and social responsibility. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Irshad. K, Assistant Professor of Arabic and NSS Programme Officer.

The Independence Day programme was well-coordinated by Ms. Fasna, Third Semester B. Sc. Psychology. The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets among the participants, symbolising the sweetness of freedom and togetherness.
