The Anti-Ragging Cell of Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, Keezhattur, organised the Anti-Ragging Awareness Week Inauguration on 10 July 2026 at 2.00 p.m. in the Seminar Hall to raise awareness among students about the harmful effects and legal consequences of ragging and to promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment. The programme commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Rahul E., Coordinator, Anti-Ragging Cell, who warmly welcomed the Principal, Vice Principal, faculty members, and students. In his address, he emphasized the importance of maintaining a ragging-free campus and encouraged students to uphold the values of mutual respect, dignity, and responsible behaviour.

The programme was formally inaugurated by Dr. Kamaludheen K. T., Principal, who delivered the inaugural address. He highlighted the institution’s zero-tolerance policy towards ragging and stressed that every student has the right to study in a safe and supportive environment. The programme was followed by a felicitation address by Dr. Saritha K., Vice Principal, who appreciated the initiatives of the Anti-Ragging Cell in promoting awareness among students.
