A Peer Teaching Session on “An Introduction to Post Colonialism” held on 23 March ‘22

A Peer Teaching session on ” An Introduction to Post Colonialism” was conducted for the students of I B. A. Functional English on 23-03-2022 at 12:00pm in lecture hall 4. The session was handled by Dheena. P. of II B. A. Functional English.

She gave an introduction to Post Colonialism and also the impact of Post Colonialism in the world. She has clearly picturised the ideas such as imperialism, cultural hegemony, the history of post colonialism, decolonisation for the audience. She also mentioned some of the key works in Post Colonial studies, aim of Post Colonialism, Post Colonial literature and major theoretical works. She concluded the presentation by giving a revision of the topic. The presentation ended with feedbacks from Nandhana Krishna and Fathima Rana from I B. A. Functional English.
