Department of Commerce Al Shifa College of Arts and Science and Kerala state GST Department Perintalmanna jointly organized a session for UG Students on fundamentals of GST on 11 February 2021, Thursday. The session was handled by Suraj B Kerala State GST officer, Kerala state GST Department. He shared and enlighted students about various GST terms, GST rate, GST calculation methods etc. He emphasized about the importance of taking care while purchasing various products and fraudulent activities in the name of GST. The event was presided over by Principal Dr PK Babu who shared his thoughts and views on Goods and Service Tax and was welcomed by the Head of Commerce Department Rohith.R and thanked by Assistant Professor Ashida AP. The program ended with an interactive student session at 1.30 pm
